About

I am William Dewhurst, a photographer from Sussex in England.

I made Lightning Limes to feature some of my favourite photographs I have taken over the years, since I was age 10.

Because I love nature, some of my favourite types of photography are wildlife and nature photography. I have a pond which is great for photographing insects and pond life.

My favourite photographers include Paul Nicklen (for his incredible nature photography) and Steve McCurry (for his amazing portrait photography).

I usually use my Canon Eos 7D, with the following lenses: Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-f/5.6 IS, Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 L MACRO IS USM, Canon 50mm f/1.8 EF II.  Before I had the Canon, I used a Panasonic LUMIX DC-FZ300 and a DC-FZ82. Sometimes I use a phone.

I have copyright in all my photos on this website. If you are interested in using them for any purpose, please contact me for my permission.
